π Project Overview
The Construction Villages Project is a large-scale development aimed at providing modern, sustainable, and fully integrated living environments to accommodate the workforce involved in key national infrastructure projects. Spread across an impressive 1.5 million square meters, the project consists of two independent villages designed to host approximately 5,000 and 10,000 residents respectively.
Each village is conceptualized as a self-sufficient community, offering essential residential facilities, social spaces, and utility services that ensure a safe, comfortable, and sustainable lifestyle. The design prioritizes functionality, sustainability, and efficiency, supporting Saudi Arabiaβs ongoing efforts to modernize infrastructure while adhering to global best practices.
π FASSIELA Scope of Work
In this ambitious project, FASSIELA played a critical role in the design review of all infrastructure works across both sites. Our scope included:
-
Comprehensive Infrastructure Assessment
Review of masterplans covering roads, water supply networks, sewage systems, and stormwater drainage. -
Utility Networks Evaluation
Technical review of electricity distribution, telecommunication systems, and other essential utilities to ensure reliability and efficiency. -
Sustainability & Compliance
Ensuring that infrastructure designs met sustainability benchmarks, health and safety standards, and complied with local regulatory requirements. -
Optimization & Recommendations
Providing practical solutions to improve design efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance long-term resilience.
π Project Impact
The Construction Villages are designed to serve as more than just accommodation sites. They will become fully functional communities capable of supporting thousands of residents, ensuring well-being, productivity, and long-term sustainability. By delivering robust and reliable infrastructure, the project contributes directly to the success of large-scale construction initiatives across the Kingdom.
